– OVERVIEW OF DSNT SKIN
White people who know how to take care of their health and skin often have this skin type. Although its delicate appearance is admirable, taking care of it is difficult. You won't be able to tan, so your best bet is to avoid the sun completely. Most DSNTs imagine being exposed to the sun is not a friend of dry and sensitive skin. Those who don't know it have to pay the price, and they may fall into the DSNW skin category (4 skin types are similar to DSNT but wrinkled).
At least you don't have to deal with preventing and dealing with wrinkles. Many people wonder "Can't avoid wrinkles, right?" No, that's not it. Skin that is not exposed to the sun much will not wrinkle, so wrinkles can be avoided with proper living habits, although the loss of facial fat that occurs with age is inevitable.
Ethnic minority people praise themselves because they have good living habits such as avoiding sunlight and quitting smoking.
Many DSNTs follow a diet rich in antioxidants (vegetables and fruits), which helps prevent wrinkles and maintain body health. However, keeping your skin calm, hydrated and unresponsive at any age takes a lot of work with careful product selection.
– Sensitive skin and DSNT
Many people have sensitive skin: their skin becomes hot, numb, itchy, and red in response to many skin care ingredients. It will take time if you want to find the exact culprit, recommend that you first eliminate the common causes, If this doesn't work, keep a food diary, writing down what you eat and what you apply to your skin every day, so you can get a rough idea of potential allergens and ingredients.
Finally, you go to a dermatologist to test the stamp to determine the exact allergy factor. This test will be cheaper if you have narrowed the scope before. Skin sensitization and skin allergy share the same spectrum. While a certain skincare ingredient may never cause an allergic reaction to your skin, it can still damage the skin barrier and increase your skin's overall sensitivity, unless the substance is soothing and reduce skin sensitivity
– Skin Fence
The skin barrier is like a wall made up of cells (which are the bricks) and the surrounding lipid layer (which acts as mortar). The skin barrier functions to keep water inside the skin and prevent allergens, toxins, and foreign bacteria from entering. When the skin barrier is weakened, substances easily penetrate to produce an allergic reaction or cause inflammation, because the foreign object is recognized by the body's immune system and this system is over-activated.
When the skin barrier is destroyed, a pathological spiral begins. Lack of protection leads to the entry of inflammatory substances. Inflammation leads to itching and further collapse of the barrier. Since then, the skin cannot hold water and becomes even drier. An injury can initiate or aggravate skin barrier collapse. Raw ingredients in skin care products or fragrances can cause inflammation and damage cells.
DSNT will feel better when the trend of "fragrance-free" products is prevalent. Acetones in nail polish, fabric treatment chemicals, dry cleaning solutions, chemicals in building materials, carpets, furniture, industrial and automotive waste can be hidden. potential for skin problems.
Many DSNT people have skin allergies. Many people cannot wear fake gold and platinum earrings and bracelets because they get rashes when they wear them. This is usually due to an allergy to nickel. Watches, hooks on clothes and underwear can cause skin rashes. Erythema may appear underneath a ring. That doesn't mean your gold or platinum ring is fake.
In this case, when you wash your hands, the detergents of the soap get trapped under the ring and irritate your skin. People with a family history of allergies or asthma are more likely to develop dry skin that develops eczema. This may be due to an abnormality in the enzymes that help stabilize the skin's structure. With oily skin types, skin sensitivity will cause acne and flushing, while skin itching, burning skin and allergic reactions are usually less. The oil helps strengthen the skin barrier.
However, people with high S/R scores are also more likely to be allergic to many skin care ingredients. With combination skin types (including oily skin areas, dry skin areas on the face) with sensitive skin, they are more prone to breakouts, such as a few papules in a few months. With dry, sensitive skin, the dryness that leads to eczema is a primary concern. The drier and more sensitive the skin score, the higher that risk.
* With DSNT skin type you may experience:
- Dry skin
– Scaly skin
– Dot red, brown skin
– Red skin
- Sensitivity to skin care ingredients
- Sensitive to soaps and detergents
– Rash under the rings
– Rashes from jewelry that are not real gold and platinum
– Irritation and inflammation of the skin when wearing earrings
- Acne from time to time
Note: Maybe your skin was born with pitted scars or pitted after long-term acne. So how to make the skin become shiny, how to do? You can contact Miss Tram for advice or you can first refer to our pitting and acne scar treatment service. here.
– ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS THAT CAN CAUSE DRY SKIN
* If you have severe dry skin or eczema, pay attention to whether or not the following factors contribute:
- Cold weather
– Dry climate
- Prolonged exposure to hot water
– Detergents and soaps
– Scrubbing with rough clothes
– Frequent outdoor travel
- Air conditioner
When either of these conditions is unavoidable, you can protect yourself by applying extra moisturizer, covering your face in dry and windy conditions, and buying softer fabrics if you find it problematic. Airplane travel is a problem for everyone, but dry skin types are affected the most. No matter what the external conditions, your body's natural defense mechanism is always at work to maintain water levels in cells, including skin cells.
Soaking in hot water can also dry out and damage the skin. Hot tubs, saunas, and facials are not for you. Instead, take a quick shower with moderately warm water. You should also check the water quality. Hard or chemically treated water can cause dry skin. Apply moisturizer after showering while skin is still wet to keep water on the surface of the skin. Prolonged immersion (over an hour) with room temperature water can damage the skin barrier.
Shampoos and hair products should also be chosen carefully, as they will come into contact with your face when you rinse. Read product labels to avoid the most common sensitizing ingredients and always rinse thoroughly after use. Shampoo bubbles are the biggest danger, avoid getting shampoo on your face. Even cleansers can make DSNT dry out even more, unless you use a specialized cleanser.
– MOISTURIZER AND SKIN DSNT
Whatever your dehydrated skin needs, in most cases, the latest generation moisturizer isn't necessary unless you can afford it, or happen to like its look. Products containing retinol and retinoids are recommended for oily, pigmented, or wrinkled skin types, but since you have non-pigmented, taut skin, they aren't necessary. Plus, despite their anti-aging benefits, they can be drying to the skin, so they're only used selectively on a few other types of dry skin.
– RECOVERY THE SKIN FREQUENCY
The three main components of a skin barrier are cholesterol, fatty acids, and ceramides. These three different lipid particles must have the right ratio to create a three-dimensional structure that keeps the skin from losing water. Internal or external factors that disrupt any of these three can degrade the skin barrier. Taking cholesterol-lowering medications makes dry skin worse. Cleansers like sodium lauryl sulfate strip away fatty acids that can lead to dryness and irritation. Sun exposure inhibits enzymes that help produce ceramides, leading to dry skin. Skin care products containing one, two, or all three of these lipids are fine and essential for skin repair, but the best product will contain all three lipids in the right proportions.
Note: Prevent dry skin by avoiding detergents, soaps, harsh chemicals and environmental factors that can damage the skin barrier. Prevention is easier than fighting. Eat sensibly, reduce stress and take Omega-3 supplements. Use a moisturizer that contains all three lipids needed for skin barrier repair (cholesterol, fatty acids, ceramides) to address dryness, reduce skin sensitivity, and soothe irritation.
Note: Currently you are trying very hard to take care of your skin daily with regular face washing, going out to the street to apply sunscreen, but your skin still has the phenomenon of acne, acne does not decrease? – DAILY SKIN CARE
The goal of a daily skin care regimen is to make skin less dry and sensitive, and use products that contain ingredients that restore the skin's barrier. In addition, a daily skin care regimen will also help prevent and treat acne. As a DSNT, what you need is relatively simple. You need to avoid ingredients (like alcohol) and products (like foaming products) that strip the skin of its natural lipids. Second, you should use a moisturizer that contains ingredients that help restore and maintain the skin barrier.
1. RED MODE
In the morning, wash your face with a non-foaming cream cleanser, then apply an anti-inflammatory serum. Next, spray mineral water. Apply eye cream if desired. And finish with a moisturizer containing sunscreen (SPF).
You should apply moisturizer while the skin is still wet to hold and draw water into the skin. In the evening, you should wash your face with a cleanser and apply an anti-inflammatory serum as in the morning. Spray with mineral water, then apply an eye cream if desired and a night cream. Maintain this regimen for two weeks.
You should only use a moisturizing face wash that does not foam. Regular soap should never be used.

- Mineral water spray
DSNT should never use a toner as it strips the skin of its lipids and may contain alcohol and other ingredients that dry out the skin. You can learn more about the benefits of mineral water in chapter thirteen. Spray mineral water on your face right before applying eye cream and moisturizer. The cream will help keep water on the skin, turning the surface of the skin into a reservoir from which to draw water in. This will be especially beneficial when the environment is dry.
DSNT needs to moisturize as much as possible. The right moisturizer helps your skin more than anything else. Choose different morning and evening products because evening products can be too greasy for daytime use and they make it difficult to apply makeup evenly. If you use a daytime moisturizer with an SPF of 15, you don't need to apply additional sunscreen. However, if your moisturizer has an SPF of less than 15, you can use a combination of moisturizer, sunscreen, and SPF foundation to ensure the total SPF reaches 15.
- Eye cream
Don't think you have to use your own eye cream. Applying a nighttime moisturizer around the eye area is fine, unless you find it too heavy.
- Kill death celk
DSNTs should not peel unless they have a low sensitivity/health score (S/R ≤30). People with higher S/R scores may experience redness and increased skin sensitivity if they exfoliate. However, you can use a very gentle exfoliator once a week to help get rid of dry flakes. Don't overdo it.
+ Exfoliating purpose helps to make the skin brighter, remove dead cells on the skin surface, remove dirt, whiten skin. So what do you think about skin whitening with red bean powder? 2. BUY US PRODUCTS
Never use soap or any product containing detergent. How? First pay attention to the mechanism of the product. Low foam is acceptable, but if a washing product, soap, shampoo, or bath product produces a lot of lather and bubbles, it contains detergent. Remember to stay away from them.
Second, read the list of ingredients listed on the labels of skin care products or other products that come into contact with the skin, making sure that you avoid all cleansers as well as ingredients that cause skin sensitization. . Sodium lauryl sulfate is a common irritating cleanser found in shampoos, hair products, and other skin care products. Watch out and buy products that don't contain it. The list below will warn you of other cleaners to avoid.
- Sunscreen for your skin
While it is recommended that you use a moisturizer containing sunscreen (SPF), you can also regularly reapply your own sunscreen.
- Make up
When choosing makeup products, avoid the above ingredients. You should also avoid eye creams with shimmer because they contain sharp molecules that can irritate your dry, sensitive skin. D and C red dyes found in blush or tinted makeup can cause acne, so if you're prone to acne in the cheek area, skip cosmetics containing these ingredients. There are many types of red dyes D and C but xanthens, monoazoanilines, fluorans, and indigoids are the most common.
3. TREATMENTS FOR YOUR SKIN
Your skin type does not need any treatment. However, with some problems you may need to see a dermatologist. For example, if your skin reacts to many skin care products, dermatologists will do a stamp test to see if you are really allergic, and exactly what ingredients are causing you.
During the stamp test, your doctor will stick small pieces of the suspected ingredients on your back. 24 hours later you come back to check, if the skin of any patch is red, it indicates that you are allergic to that substance. Sometimes it takes several tests, using many different components to find out.
After the above article, what do you think? You have really understood your skin type right yet?
From theory to practice
Although Baumann's skin classification system is somewhat more specific and accurate in assessing skin, we should understand that this is only a systematic method from the perspective of four factors. factor, not a specific solution, is if your skin belongs to any group, you need to take care of your skin.
There are two issues to keep in mind:
• The skin on your face can have different characteristics, it is normal for the cheeks to be dry and the forehead to be oily. If the difference is small, that's okay, but if it's too big, maybe you should treat each skin area as different skin types and treat them separately.
Suppose in the above case, you can consider your cheek skin as DRNW and forehead skin as OSNT and then follow the corresponding regimen for example. The specific skin care is also reasonable to explain the spot treatment method, for example, if your skin has acne, where is it considered a special skin, only apply acne cream there. Just don't apply the whole face.
• Differentiate skin type and skin condition: One of the dangerous mistakes of skin classification is the confusion between skin type and skin condition. Each person's skin type is fixed, but the skin condition is constantly changing depending on the environment and care.
For example, people with oily skin will have large pores and active sebum, this is a genetic factor, normal skincare will not be changed. However, in the dry winter, the person's skin becomes more balanced, even showing signs of dryness. In this case, the skin type is still fixed with the element of oily skin (Oily) but the weather fluctuations have caused the moisture on the skin's surface to change. The purpose of skincare is to overcome the disadvantages of the skin type through balancing the state of the skin. This means that even if you know your skin is oily, when the surface of your skin is dry, you need to change the appropriate moisturizing measure to bring the skin state back to balance.
